Registration is free of charge. In order to verify your account, a 1 CHF deposit is required and will become nextbike credit to use later on.<\/p>\n

RENTAL<\/h3>\n

Simply scan the QR Code on the bike with the nextbike app and the FrameLock will open automatically. <\/p>\n

PAUSE RIDE<\/h3>\n

Pause your ride without ending the rental. Simply pause your ride in the app and close the lock. The rental stays active during the pause and will be charged as usual.<\/p>\n

RETURN<\/h3>\n

Return your bike at any official nextbike station in Central Switzerland, your ebike to any station in Lucerne, Hochdorf, Ballwil, Eschenbach and Inwil and press the FrameLock lever down to lock the bike. If you return your bike outside of an station, a service fee of at least CHF20 for bikes and CHF25 for ebikes will be charged.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

Our tariffs<\/h2>

Up to four bicycles or e-bikes can be rented simultaneously on one account. Special rates usually apply only to the first bicycle and not to e-bikes (with the exception of the 3-day rate). Please note that e-bikes may only be returned to stations in the city of Lucerne, Horw, Hochdorf, Ballwil, Eschenbach, Inwil, Werthenstein and Wolhusen \u2013 these stations are marked with a lightning bolt in the app. You can easily change your rate in your nextbike account under Account Settings.
