you have returned the bike or ebike improperly. Pedal bikes have to be returned to one of the many nextbike Zentralschweiz stations. Ebikes have to be returned to one of the ebike stations in Lucerne, Hochdorf, Ballwil, Eschenbach or Inwil. There is a regular fee of 20 CHF for bikes and 25 CHF for ebikes per rental for bikes when returned improperly. This fee does not apply to the first improper return. Please note that in case of repetition the fee will apply.<\/p>\n

You can still avoid the fee: Go back to the bike and rent it again. Do not do this from afar, as the lock will open automatically. The new rental will merge with the old one and the improper return fee will be cleared if you return the bike properly this time.<\/p>\n

You can see the final charges for your rentals in your rental history in your app or in your customer account via the website login. You can get information about prices and tariffs under ‘Tariffs’.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

At stations<\/strong>:<\/h5>\n

You can return our pedal bikes to any official nextbike station within nextbike Zentralschweiz. You can find stations in the those municipalities<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Please make sure that the bike is parked in such a way that it does not obstruct anyone.<\/p>\n

At e-bike stations:<\/strong><\/h5>\n

E-bikes may only be returned at e-bike stations in Lucerne, Hochdorf, Ballwil, Eschenbach or Inwil. Of course, pedal bikes may also be returned here. You can recognize e-bike stations on the map by the flash symbol.<\/p>\n

Away from stations:<\/h5>\n

Bikes may not be returned away from official stations. There is no flexzone! For improper returns a fee of at least 20 CHF for bikes and 25 CHF for ebikes will apply automatically.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Due to slight GPS deviations, you may be charged a fee for inproper return even though you returned your bike at a station. No problem. Contact our hotline at +41 41 50 80 800<\/a> or send us a message via app with your registered mobile phone number, respective bike number and a short description of the problem.
